Specialty courses

Courses that go beyond the “normal development” of general diving skills are called specialties. There are two main reasons to participate in such programs. The first is to improve your knowledge and skills. Diving is your hobby, so subjects related to diving are interesting and enriching. The second reason is to get the training needed to participate in special activities. You can limit the time away from home and work by doing the academic part of your training online and then address yourself to one of the qualified instructors listed on this page for the practical part or your training.

Seminars

For some subjects a certification is not needed. These subjects relate to general development as a diver. Online training in such subjects is not a course with a formal certification at the end, but a seminar which leads to a confirmation of participation only. Seminars are meant for people who want to improve their knowledge of diving, or for those who have to improve their knowledge, because they pursue a leadership level certification as diving professional.
